- I am a christian woman who has 4 wonderful children (most of the time), 2 terrific son's-in-law and 2 of the most beautiful and fantastic grandchildren. 1 new daughter-law. Life is full of many challenges everyday, that seem to never stop and always keep me on my toes, and that with God's help I will survive. I think it would be nice to be bored occasionally. I have God'ss grace & am coping. Retired now for 3 years from the local school district and at times am busier then I used to be, but then I have the time to do............other stuff!!

Happy birthday to your lovely daughter!
Our next door neighbor's son got married up on the campus where I used to work Friday evening, 08-08-08. IT's always risky to have an outdoor wedding here, no matter what month. We've been praying for rain for the farmers, who are suffering, and sure enough, it just poured between 6 and 6:30. Of course, the chairs and grass were dripping wet. They did have a canopy for the band. Many people went right to the reception and missed the ceremony. The bride was stubborn and did not want a Plan B, so she had the consequences. It did quit raining, but it was not pleasant, I am sure.
