I was afraid I wasn't going to see the lunar eclipse last night, with all the clouds. We didn't see the beginning but we did get to see parts of it. I was able to get a few pictures after we got home and I used the tripod with my camera. This is of the moon coming out of the eclipse.

I know they're not nearly as rare as solar eclipses, but I thought it was really cool. Unfortunately, it was -25 here (-13F) and super windy. My camera batteries just don't work in conditions like that!! And I was perfectly content to watch it from inside, too!
Nice pictures. It was too cloudy to see anything here. I think the kids were even in bed, so we were free, but moonless!
