When I took these photos, it was raining pretty good, big drops and lots of them. Not your usually 'sunny' afternoon weather the end of August. We woke up around 3:00 A.M. to terrific thunder and lightening. Except for the clouds, that was taken when the rain slowed. Each photo I was getting drenched in the rain.
I am still not sure where the storm came from, except they say the south and
monsoonal style storm. It was not predicted last night on the news. It was a surprise to everyone.
It wouldn't be so bad except that it is hot and muggy. And not good for the grapes, the farmers will cry on the news tonight.
