I woke up around 1:45 am and went outside to see the eclipse. It was just beginning so I went to bed for about 15 more minutes. I got up again and went outside and lay on the grass. Snapping pictures every so often.
My camera isn't designed for this type of photography, but it didn't do to bad. Plus, Kitty Boy (out outside kitty) enjoyed my company for the next hour or so.
Reminds me of a time when we lived at Sunset Beach, Rochelle, Eric and I took our blanket outside around midnight to watch an eclipse of the moon. I still have those photos.

I remember sitting outside watching that eclipse. I would have liked to have seen this one, but needed the sleep even more!
